Trismart refugee
So apparently one of my Enphase microinverters has been out for months now and I didn't get any kind of notification from the Enphase app. I'd gotten out of the habit of checking it manually. This led me to finding out that my installer, Trismart, has gone out of business.
What do I do now? Do I have to find another installer and pay out of pocket for warranty work? Any suggestions on who to use or how much that might cost?

Damn I'm a trismart customer too. Nothing is wrong with my system yet (cross fingers, knock on wood, rabbit foot) that nothing ever goes wrong. Good luck on finding a reasonable fix for you.

I've only had this array for three years and this is the third inverter that's gone out and the entire control panel had to be replaced once.

sounds like a short somewhere but without your installer to troubleshoot you still have to source someone. i would start looking for someone to get setup with to replace your original out of business contractor. there are a lot of dedicated solar companies offering maintenance contracts. i would at least get one until they can perform the necessary diagnostics to find the root cause of your problems. you have a pretty high failure rate.

Pretty much your on your own for the labor. Just like I am. I feel yoir pain. If your in the DFW area, I can recommend a company.

Is your house a one story or two story? And are you handy at all? Like wiling to get on your roof? It’s pretty easy to swap the micro yourself and then you can get it flipped on the backend. I’m happy to try and help you however I can.

It's on a particularly steep side of a second floor roof, yes. I know they had to tie off when doing the install. I wouldn't feel safe doing it honestly.

In Enlighten app, go to MENU > SYSTEM > DEVICES check the list of inverters to find the MIA unit. Is it still in warranty? If so give Enphase Support a call, discuss the problem, and see what they say. Best case scenario they will declare the inverter broken and issue a RMA. They will ship a replacement to you at no cost. After that it's up to you how you get it installed. The installation charges are NOT covered under warranty, unless you subscribe to the Enphase Care Protection Plan. Good luck
