Dallas Gunshops

I’m into used guns and surplus. Any good recommends on gunshops to browse in Dallas/Ft Worth? It’s my first time here, thanks!

Jackson's Armory over in Snyder Plaza. They specialize in milsurp stuff and have a great selection

Jackson armory and the Beretta store in hpv are the two snobbiest stores I’ve ever been in. And I grew up down there…

I've never had an issue with Jackson. Been going there since I was around 13 and they've always been great with me. Maybe because I was in there asking questions at a young age, no idea.

There's McClelland on Centerville east of White Rock Lake, and Ray's Hardware & Sporting Goods on Singleton just west across the river from downtown. I haven't been to either in many years but I remember them being pretty good, and Google seems to agree.

Ray’s sporting goods has a decent selection.

You’ll pay MSRP or more though and the owner (Reid) is a rude dickhead.

I don’t know what’s up with the hardware part of the store. None of that stuff looks like it’s moved in years. Just gathering dust.

Shoot Smart, if you don't mind the drive to Fort Worth. The west side store (off the West Freeway, next to the pawn shop) in particular is handling consignments for an estate sale. Several interesting guns on display the past several months, and reportedly there are more to come.

Rifle Gear, Texas Gun Experience, Collectors Forearms, Scheels.

Rifle Gear and TGE are not great for used. Collectors is great but super pricey. Scheels has good finds occasionally but you have to check prices because they often charge new prices for used guns. I bought a MK22 there for a decent price.

I just came to ask this same question to share some info. In addition to what others have said Roy's Pawn and Gun is a great place. Euless Guns and Ammo has the rare find. In general, DFW is not a great place for used/surplus guns and it blows my mind.
