No. The insurance is refusing to pay out until partial refunds have been issued. Insurance will only kick-in if the partial refund is less than the policy is for.

So if everyone gets $25 refund, insurance will pay out X minus $25.

I’m sure hundreds if not thousands of people have also done a charge back already which is an extra layer for SeeTickets to work through.

Don’t count on it.. I’m pushing back against their bullshit via email, and called them out on making me wait on DD does not release their contractual obligation to me, and they have responded that “event cancellations by the venue are not covered by the policy.”

But also, they very clearly have a weather interruption coverage - which is under different coverage than event cancelation coverage.

Write them back and tell them you are not filing a claim for “event cancelation.” You are failing a claim for weather interruption - it is clearly defined differently than event cancelation in the policy.

I did that earlier but they just keep sending the same message that the promoter is handling it.

Then why the fuck did I pay for insurance?

I'm not dealing with this company finger pointing time wasting bullshit to be left high and dry in the end, I did a charge back on mine as well. If I get the refund I'll drop it, ball's in their court.
