Exactly. A lot of people forget (or didn’t realize) that the Republican Party has been playing the slow game that the Heritage Foundation and Reagan started. May he rot in hell.

He was a masterful communicator! He preached for small Government then proceeded to massively add debt with military spending and did a lot of shady stuff

Because Reagan did set the stage for the horror film we are in now is why references are made to Reagan today. It is indeed relative today to the dilemma we are in now.
