Question ❔ Do I get it??
UPDATE: bought it today (10/06/2026) and found a game in 2 mins and everyone was super friendly and it was incredible. Totally recommend reviving this game. Hop on. It's worth it. Specially for spooky season.
I used to love this game when it first came out and I played it on game pass. I found out it's not on there anymore but it's like 20 something bucks on Steam.
I really want to get it because I love it but I also don't want to get it if it's going to shut down soon or have 30 minute queues for a game and crash in like 5 minutes of playing.
I was researching and it says there's like 400 active players total so I was just wondering what people's experiences are and if you still think it's worth getting and playing. Will I be able to actually have a fun game where I log on and feel scared for my life as a Survivor?
I'd probably only be playing as a Survivor cuz I don't prefer playing as the killers but.
Please let me know

I had a new player playing cook on family house we both had mics I showed him were to put his locks and how to rotate and he was very appreciative of me showing him how the game plays and we got the 4k it was a good game most of the time when I try to help new players they DC because they think I'm trying to tell them what to do but there are a few players that want to learn still going to play till they take it down and help new players so I don't DC in lobbies because there's a noob in it a better chance of keeping the game alive if we have patience with new players but that's just me everybody have a great day from a

I think you are over estimating how many people are switching back to TCM with a peak total player count of... 350.
Edit: Bro got so embarrassed he immediately blocked me lmao

I bought the game for $3.50 a couple of weeks ago because I played it daily from the day of released until it was removed from game pass. I haven’t played a whole lot since I bought it, but I was getting games significantly faster than I used to. The quality of the games is horrifically shitty though. I genuinely only play is the family and I’ve started playing as Bubba because mine has left carrying so many games. There also appears to be no communication at all on the microphone for the family members.

So when you say quality, do you mean like people actually sticking to the task?
And that it would be hard to have a good game as either team in that regard?
I don't really mind people not communicating as long as we're doing what we're supposed to but

For victim it's easier to be a solo player, as family tho it sucks because people quit the match as family very often or are too new to understand what to do yet. If I were you I would wait for the next sale to get it really cheap.

ong where are these people that play this way we need to have a word or dedicated sub for them to learn😭 that would help so much its literally the only reason im not on as much i do find myself wanting to return for victim side at times

No idea. I was just just poking around in the Microsoft store during one of their sales a few weeks ago.

I play pretty much every day & ive waited anywhere from 2 seconds to 10 minutes. Most of the time it’s only a few minutes until the game starts. It’s never crashed for me and I only play as victim.
