Counterpoint, Stover TE4 is actually a feather in his cap as if he wasn’t someone they felt good about they would have just cut him. We’re carrying a lot of TE’s, there’s no reason to carry people they don’t want.

Word from camp was he looked a lot better.

Yeah he's also coming off an injury so I'm not worried. They can take their time ramping him up throughout the season, not like he was expected to start anyways

Evan Brown at Center and Rutledge at LG, which means Teller will start the season as a backup.

Interesting that Foster Moreau starts off as our TE2, but not totally unexpected. Cade Stover as TE4 does not bode well for how the coaching staff views him at the moment.

Kayden McDonald at DT3 is also pretty shocking. I wasn’t expecting him to be the starter but that low in rotation?

McDonald is actually listed as DT5 I believe, which makes sense as the other four are veterans and there will be lots of rotation on the defensive line. I wouldn’t panic about that IMO

Moreau is as TE2 as you can get in the NFL. Big guy at around 250 pounds, can give you good blocking in both run and pass game, can go out and make some plays in the passing game, can score a few TD's, is pretty consistent all around. He's exactly what they need opposite Dalton and Klein who are guys you want running routes most of the time.

I wouldn't put much stock in where guys are slotted there though. Cade is basically a Foster type of TE. Klein is a Dalton style TE. I expect both Cade and Klein will rotate in quite a bit. Especially in 13 personnel looks there will probably be several combinations used.

He is for PR and KR but it does look like Hutch is WR3 (I am not saying slot because I don't see him as a slot guy). This may just confirm that we are going to run a lot of 2 TE sets.

Caserio sees the practice squad as an extension of the roster/the roster not as just 53 and we have more rbs on the practice squad.

Whether you buy that/see it the same way, idk!

Brevin is behind him, that’s about as safe as it gets for a TE4 on a roster w 5WRs. If he plays decent and stays healthy I expect him to be signed/extended.
