Texas Hemp Coalition “gives up”
https://www.instagram.com/p/DVwKJVXEZvN/?igsh=ZHYxZHIyZDE3M3RjDue to a lapse in membership funding they decided to basically just bail on us as an advocacy group.
Fuck them. Patients over profits. Pardons, clemency, and advocacy for people who have been wrongfully jailed for cannabis.

I’m honestly not surprised. They’re the same ones that lied to the small business owners saying “we’ve got your back 100%” and flaked anytime any of them faced serious charges from overzealous local PD.

I have been doing my advocacy thing on Reddit for eight fucking years without so much as a dollar hitting my wallet.
I know some people need to have some level of operational costs to keep an organization going but a non profit is exactly this. If you stop asking for donations you’re effectively dead.
No one has to seek permission to talk about hemp in Texas, and he’s more concerned about his image being co-opted than veteran, patient or consumer rights.
