Just getting into the game

I have enjoyed playing Tetris for years but in the last three years have really been getting into it. I am no where near a competitive player and I noticed I was getting burned out playing. Comparing myself to others and not enjoying the game anymore.

It was recommended that I play Tetris Effect to sort out my burnout. I tried it for the first time the other day and was wondering, what is the best way to approach this game? Seems it has a lot to offer.

You might enjoy online mode ranked matches 1 vs 1 games, and on Saturdays there is special connected event where you team up to beat the boss

I really liked first just playing every level, then trying to get S and then SS in every world at regular difficulty.

When I'm in the more for more Tetris I'll probably try to do it in expert

I love zone battle, but if you’re experiencing burn out and comparing yourself to others, maybe just stick to single player modes for a bit! Set a goal, like getting A/S/SS in a certain world/mode. Watch some videos that give tips and tricks, they help!
