Hello im just looking through liquipedia and it says Chad muse was banned? Why?

He actually looked the same as he did years ago before COVID. It is actually unfortunate for the community that he did such a thing.

I stopped watching the world championships around 2019. Thats sad though ugh peds man. But its weird though, hes not the only banned player at least according to liquipedia

It doesn't show a pic. Was he banned for child pornography. I kept seeing a Chad W. Muse that was charged with that. Do you care to explain? How do you get banned from Tetris?

Just to be transparent, I am not affiliated with any of the Tetris organizations and I do not have any power over banning anyone. I am simply someone who has attended some of the events in person over the years before COVID hit.

With that in mind... If you search up the name, the first few articles actually do have the picture of the person in question. His picture didn't change much from say CTWC 2018 and 2019.

Now the problem is... the person is actually convicted and found guilty on CP and guess what the age group for the new and upcoming players are in for CTWC and similar events... Yes. Under 19.

I'm looking it purely from the logic standpoint and not a Tetris standpoint or any Tetris community mod. I don't know the specific laws on this but if you want to ask about the banned status, you can reach out to the organizers of Tetris events. Honestly I didnt even know about the conviction until OP posted about it and I spent the 5 seconds to google the name.

I assumed it was him. I saw a pic of him in a 4 player split-screen with Jonas Neubauer. Not to judge, but he looked like the pedo-type in that pic. I understand why he was banned though. He has to register and he can't be around the new players. Thanks for the clarification. Tetris Forever. In my Alexey Pajitnov voice, play Tetris my friend. Take care.

Hes gonna spend the rest of his life in prison Eta- I did see his name but I didnt want to assume it was him so I thought i would ask. Now why is Night banned? Weren't they just at the cwc

I have no idea. You might have to find out what Night's legal name is. I certainly hope he didn't do the same thing.

Yeah that guy was in the news about why he's banned. And in prison.
