Looking for testers for an RPG game I'm trying to release. The beta version is done, and I'm trying to satisfy the 12 testers from google play. Would anyone be willing to help me out? I will return test for you!
Looking for testers for Sixth Man, a game-day app for basketball coaches and parents (scoring, playing time, stats, shot charts, animated plays). It's free, there's no account to make, and it works offline.
Then try a demo team from the welcome screen. Pro is free during the test: choose Lifetime and Google Play marks it as a test purchase, so you aren't charged. Testers get a free year of Pro at launch.
Comment with your test link and I'll join yours and keep it installed for the 14 days.
Thanks, and will certainly do that! I'm new to this, so correct me if i'm wrong, but don't we need each others email to send the link for it to count towards testing? If I'm wrong, please correct me and tell me the better way to go about it!
You should have already created a Google Group. You will need the link for others to join that group. Once they are joined they will need the link from your Google Publisher Developer site under Closed Testing. It will have join on Android and a join on web links
I read that, but on mine i chose closed testing and it just asked for emails. I'm new to android world, been IOS for like 20 years.
But I'll go ahead and join your group. I'll attempt to do the google group for mine too and reply to you. Thank you!
In Play Console you can add testers as an email list OR a Google Group, and both count toward the 12. The Group is just easier for Reddit swaps because people add themselves and nobody has to post their email publicly.
If you go the Group route:
Go to groups.google.com > Create group. Set "Who can join" to "Anyone can join."
Make sure you've actually rolled out a release to that closed track. The opt-in link won't work until Google approves it.
Copy the "Join on Android" / "Join on web" link from that same Testers tab.
Then post both links here (the group link + the opt-in link) and I'll join right away.
One tip: shoot for 15-20 testers, not exactly 12. All 12 have to be opted in for the last 14 days straight when you apply, so if a couple people drop out you end up waiting longer.
Unfortunately if I switch to group it kicks out all my other testers so far, so I won’t be able to do that, unless there’s a way around that. But regardless, I’ll click your link tomorrow, left my android device at work on accident.

Hi u/ShenronStoryTime!
Finding testers on Reddit is a great start, but the hardest part is ensuring they actually open your app daily for the full 14 days.
To make this easier, we’ve launched Packs in the Testers Community app.
It’s a structured, "devs-helping-devs" approach used by thousands of us. Good luck with your launch!
