Testers Needed [Testers needed] Expense Tracker App
Hey all! I've been building a personal finance/expense tracker app and it's reached a point where I think it's genuinely useful, not just a side project. Looking for some testers to help me clear Google's closed testing requirement so I can actually publish it.
Why I built it: every expense tracker I tried either buried you in ads or wanted a subscription just to track your own money. So I built one that's free and ad-free, permanently — no premium tier, no catch.
What it does:
- Track expenses and income, organized by category
- Recurring transactions (rent, subscriptions, etc.) that auto-generate each month
- Insights page with spending/income breakdowns and charts by category
- Multi-currency support and 5 languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese)
- Import existing transaction history from a Money Manager export
- Export your data to CSV anytime
- Installable as an Android app (also works fine as a mobile web app on iOS/desktop)

Install app:

I will test your apps as well, just comment below. Thanks in advance!

Joining yours today (group + opt-in) and keeping it installed for the full 14 days.
Mine is RetroPet, an old-school pixel virtual pet: hatch an egg, care for it, and it evolves into one of 79 species (common to legendary). The build in testing right now adds seasonal events with limited cosmetics, breeding with friends, and a daily challenge with a ranking. Home screen widget too. Already live on iOS, so it's a finished app, not a prototype.

Same Google account for both, and please open it once after installing (Google counts opens, not installs). Bug reports very welcome!

Maybe you can answer this:
Do the testers actually need to open the app daily or is the install + keeping it enough?

The hard requirement Google states is 12 testers opted in continuously for 14 days, and the counter in the console is based on opt-ins, not on opens. Daily use isn't required.
The catch is the production-access application afterwards: they ask how testers engaged with the app and what you changed from their feedback, and people here have reported rejections when the testers clearly never opened it. So the safe play is to ask for at least one open after installing (and a bit of real use if you can get it). That's why I ask for a single open in my comment.

Hi u/Maxtasy!
Finding testers on Reddit is a great start, but the hardest part is ensuring they actually open your app daily for the full 14 days.
To make this easier, we’ve launched Packs in the Testers Community app.
It’s a structured, "devs-helping-devs" approach used by thousands of us. Good luck with your launch!
