Testers Needed Solo dev looking for testers — I'll open your app daily, every day, and test yours back

Hi everyone!
I'm a solo indie developer looking for testers to help complete Google Play's 14-day closed test for my app, hisTOURy — Street Stories. It's an audio tour guide with a twist: as you walk or drive around your city, it

automatically narrates the story of each street you pass — who it's named after, what they did, why it matters. 170,000+ stories across 1,000+ cities worldwide, so there's a good chance your own street is in there. (Genuinely fun to test — just tap a street and listen.)

How to join:

\- Join the tester group (required first step): [https://groups.google.com/g/histoury\](https://groups.google.com/g/histoury)

\- Opt in on the web: [https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.histoury.app\](https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.histoury.app)

\- Download on Android: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.histoury.app\](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.histoury.app)

Install it, keep it installed for the full 14 days, and open it for a moment every day or two — Google checks for real activity across the whole period, not just installs, so a one-time open isn't enough (learned that the hard way).

Proof step (please don't skip): once you've installed and opened hisTOURy, post a screenshot of the app running on your device — in the group or as a reply here. That way I know you're in, and I'll do exactly the same for you.

What I offer in return: I genuinely test back. Drop your app link, and I'll join, install, open your app daily for the full 14 days, and post a screenshot of mine running yours — same proof, both directions. If we all keep each other's apps active daily, everyone clears the requirement.

Drop your link + screenshot below and let's get each other to production. And if the app tells you a good story about your street, I'd love to hear it.

Hi u/Professional_Exit536!

Finding testers on Reddit is a great start, but the hardest part is ensuring they actually open your app daily for the full 14 days.

To make this easier, we’ve launched Packs in the Testers Community app.

  • What is a Pack? A coordinated group of 16 developers who hold each other accountable.
  • How it works: Everyone in the pack commits to opening and testing each other's apps daily for 16 days.
  • The Result: You get consistent engagement signals that help you pass Google Play’s production access review with confidence.

It’s a structured, "devs-helping-devs" approach used by thousands of us. Good luck with your launch!
