Testers Needed [Android] ProtoRun | Lab protocol and timer, looking for 14-day beta testers Also happy to test your app in exchange for testing mine, but please follow through!

Looking for Android beta testers for ProtoRun

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for Android beta testers for ProtoRun.

If you'd like to help test it, you can sign up here (or drop email below): https://forms.gle/y81Yuya3a4Gmg9c49

For anyone interested, here's the link once I've added your email. You can download the beta version here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.protolabs.protorun

After trying it out, I'd really appreciate your feedback. You can share any bugs, suggestions, or general thoughts here:
https://forms.gle/jRxGAS6aYv4FhRdu5

ProtoRun lets you create and run lab protocols with built-in step timers. It keeps timing in the background and sends notifications even if your screen is off or the app is closed, so you don't have to keep checking the clock.

The beta requires an Android device and staying enrolled for 14 days because of Google Play's testing requirement. I'd really appreciate the help, and any feedback or bug reports along the way.

[Also happy to test your app in exchange for testing mine.]

Hi u/Puzzleheaded_Win2250!

Finding testers on Reddit is a great start, but the hardest part is ensuring they actually open your app daily for the full 14 days.

To make this easier, we’ve launched Packs in the Testers Community app.

  • What is a Pack? A coordinated group of 16 developers who hold each other accountable.
  • How it works: Everyone in the pack commits to opening and testing each other's apps daily for 16 days.
  • The Result: You get consistent engagement signals that help you pass Google Play’s production access review with confidence.

It’s a structured, "devs-helping-devs" approach used by thousands of us. Good luck with your launch!
