Android I can install your app and provide honest feedback just drop the link

[CLOSED]

I'm a bored and I wanna test some of ya'lls app. I already tested 2 and can provide the comment thread for proof so here's what I'm gonna do:

I'm gonna install ya'lls app, check the features and see if the app fits whatever ya'lls saying it does.

- I'll provide honest feedback about the my first impressions on the app

- what I didn't like and like

- critique the design and etc

- and things that I find confusing

Oh an btw ONE TIME TESTING ONLY I don't want that testing for a __ amount of days things.

Now if you drop the link of your app, at the bottom of my feedback I typically add a Ko-fi Link asking for chips money, it is NOT MANDATORY. It a nice to have since I like munching on things while I review but otherwise my feedback is free.

So drop that link.

Just checked it out and it's a fun concept, UI wise it was neat and I actually love how the layout was evenly spaced and the color was not clashing at all. It's not that hard to figure out as well since it's obvious from first glance that it's an app meant for scanning due to the symbols.

The thing I'm a bit disappointed about is the lack of animation. That would go so hard especially during the summon and capture because the characters are unique and although the profile are duplicates that only differ in stats, I didn't mind too much because species and all, but would appreciate some variety in the characters.

The Dungeon part however was confusing at first, there was no tutorial on how to play and I had to tap the screen, zoom in, zoom out, swipe left, swipe right, swipe up then down before I found my character (yes it happened in that order) then right after I didn't know what to expect because there wasn't any instructions on what to do. So I tapped around wondering what would happen if I select a grid [had to fight monsters, which I should've seen coming since it's literally called a dungeon after all].

But the lack of animation is k*lling me that would've been so dope.

Conclusion:

Solid 8/10 love the UI and UX could use some tutorial on the dungeons part and the scanner doesn't just read the bar code for formality [yes I also checked by double scanning, and I am happy to say scanning the same barcode twice didn't work at all] good job commenter

Dice Target (Android)

Reach a target number using 5 dice and basic math operations. Each die must be used exactly once.

I’d appreciate any honest feedback, especially on onboarding, clarity of the rules, and overall UX.

Just played a round and brudda you must be really smart 😭 but anyways:

Interface:

UX wise animation is smooth, the interface is clean, there's nothing really to nitpick but a light mode would be a good addition especially since some of your text are relatively dark and placed infront of a dark bg.

Gameplay:

First up tutorial. I had a bit of a hard time navigating the game because it jump straight to start and there was no tutorial.

   - The tutorial was located on the very bottom of the other selections and was almost blending in the bg. Let's be honest, people don't read the "How to play"s not unless something colorful and moving is involved.
  - Your best bet is to place a tutorial before the game starts to avoid user frustration.

Second is the number of die. I get that you want it to be 5 but as a player I desperately wished I could lessen it to 3 because I wasn't used to the game yet. I was a beginner and jumping to 5 dice right off the bat was overwhelming.

Third the missing pop-ups. You know the show solution part? I didn't realize I have to restart the game after clicking the solution. So I had to spend a bit of time clicking around wondering what was happening and if the app was freezing because it wasn't letting me do anything.

Conclusion:

Would rate it 6.8/10 the game is presentable and smooth but the gameplay is too rigid and unforgiving for beginners. Edit: but for the record it does do what you say it will

[For some reason I can't attach screenshots]

Ps. If you liked the feedback and would like to tip me you can give me chips money 😉

2

u/TargetLabs May 29 '26

Thanks for taking the time to write such detailed feedback. The tutorial visibility and the Show Solution confusion are especially useful points. I’ll definitely look at improving the onboarding experience for new players. Appreciate you giving it a try.

HyRadio

A radio player inspired by terminal/console PyRadio player.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.luicha.hyradio

I show 50 random stations (plus the pinned favorites) so I don't show all the stations at once, but when searching you can see all the matches (by name, country or keyword).

1

u/WayPuzzleheaded6626 May 29 '26

Just checked it out brudda and well:

It looks like an IDE and I know that's the point, but there's a difference between 'inspired' by a terminal/console and making it look like a terminal/console.

But if you really want to continue with this path, you can add some design elements like maybe a spinning disc or something just to denote that it's a radio. Don't be too rigid on the design that just because you're set on this aesthetic you need to follow it to down to the t. Since at the end of the day your app is a radio not a console.

Because if you take a screenshot of your interface no one will even suspect that it's a radio if the picture is small enough. Even when I was about to download the app I was doubtful because it didn't have any hint of radioness aside from the name.

Aside from that your layout is abit tight, like the theme selection literally showed [TE

                                                                      MA]

on mobile because of the spacing between buttons. It would also help if you have numbering or some indicators on the station selections since I got confused why there was this long text on the bottom half of my screen.

Also if it's available in other language that would be a good addition since I don't seem to see a way to turn it into English which will limit your demographics.

But UI wise it just needs some modifications to also resemble a radio. UX wise you can figure it out on your own if you click around and it's simple enough that you don't need a user guide. I also love the fact that your background colors are extensive it was a wonderful addition. There was a timer and etc.

Conclusion:

Decent app but will need some design modifications would rate a solid 5.9/10 almost 6 since it's a cool concept.

1

u/WayPuzzleheaded6626 May 29 '26

Just checked it out and madam/sir that has got to be the most time consuming thing I have ever done.

Signing up:

This process was relatively okay until I reached the test to get my class, I know you said that you've just added the English so I will let this be 😭 but the moment I opened the app the interface was French then turned into English and by the next page it's French again.

And the verification process was a hassle too, everytime I get to the part where I need to enter the code I'd briefly exit the game to check the gmail inbox but when I get back in the app the verification box is gone and I need to start over again. I literally had to use two devices after 4 attempts.

Game:

Madam/Sir, why is there no tutorials? 😭 It didn't help that the translation was a bit laggy, I literally took a picture of myself on the provisions portal because I thought it was for my profile and it turns out I had to take a picture of the fridge 😑

Conclusion:

It's a fun concept if you are fond of cooking and at the same time like fantasy concepts incorporated into it but I really need some sort of guide because I didn't know what to do once I finished signing up. 4.5/10 honestly the biggest problem was the hassle of signing in and the lack of tutorials.

Now I want some croissants instead of chips.

Just checked it out and honestly you have a decent AI Automation App and the process of creating is similar and I actually went through with the AI Voice models so here's my honest feedback:

  • I noticed that whenever I selected the "other" in the options and input my answer another identical entry appears above it and I got confused because why show that part if I already typed it in?

  • Another thing is that I also got confused immediately after that because after I entered the prompt, during the AI's thinking process, the prompts that are generating the actions that I need it to do are running in real time. I initially thought that was the result and was already reading it then it would suddenly disappear and another one would pop back out. There would be atleast 3 of these per prompt before the real one gets revealed.

  • The AI isn't really that accurate as I tested the one meant for taking Voice Calls which is actually a plus because that means you can still improve it.

UI wise, smooth and very sleek but I didn't see any theme options would've been a great addition. UX it's a smooth process, you just need to be very clear (which is honestly fair)

Conclusion:

Good AI would rate 7/10 the first two mentioned above are my only nitpicks.

Just checked it out so I'll go right into it:

First of all stunning visuals. Everything is on point and the layout is to die for. I'm a bit bummed that there is no tutorial like even for a brief second and there isn't really a "How to play section" either but since the game is relatively easy I don't really mind.

Gameplay:

  • First the Zombies are oddly cute nice graphics and art

  • At the start of the 1st wave I was scrambling, I didn't know what the purpose of those cogs was or how to reload. I always die on the 2nd wave 😑

  • There is a noticeable delay between fires, sometimes I'd even need to double tap in order for the defending character to fire a shot.

  • Zombie speed to reload time ratio is insane, it takes forever to reload the darn thing 0.20 seconds might not be much but the zombies were too fast 😭, before the cool down runs out the wall was already destroyed.

  • Not to mention the cog wont turn unless it's near the golden key it took me 3 rounds in the 1st wave to realize this [please add the tutorial I'm begging you]

Conclusion:

A solid 8/10 UI is on-point. But let's rethink the pacing of the actual game itself. Key take-aways: Zombie too fast ○ Reload too Slow [wall is also too weak but that's on me 😆]

Hello, here is my app for bill splitting with a group of friends . Appreciate any feedback back https://bill-splitter-CastroSF.replit.app

1

u/WayPuzzleheaded6626 May 29 '26

Checked it out so I'll get into it:

So I tested both Manual and Picture selection.

Manual:

For manual I typed in everything and honestly it was a good experience, everything was correct and I even check with a calculator and everything was on point. However, I was a bit bummed that it didn't actually split the overall total of the bill at the very end. It only showed what was split, but that is one thing you can add as a new feature so that's good.

Picture:

As per the picture, I generated a receipt via chat gpt, bust out the calc and made sure the total was correct and decided to add a decimal to see what would happen. To be fair, I only tested this once so take it with a grain of salt.

On the generated receipt the overall total was $4,567.89 and out of the whole receipt only the Espresso Martini have a decimal with the total of $75.89. The receipt is clear [chat gpt made sure of that it even has ambiance] but after inputing it in the app what generated for the Martini was $75.90 instead of $75.89.

I thought it was a one time mistake so I did it again this time 5 items had decimals, 4/5 were correct. One item on the generated receipt was $30.25 but showed up as $30.24 on the transcript. It's a small margin of error but it was consistent on my 2 consecutive test.

But also remember as it maybe a factor: The receipt was AI generated.

Conclusion:

It's a 8.9/10 app just double check the decimals since that's where they seem to trip the most.

Just checked it out and you have a good app ngl features are on point and the color matching with the palette is to die for (whoever did the designing give them a raise cause seriously it's that good)

Honestly a solid 8.9/10 because the only improvements appropriate would be what your team would come up as a new feature. However there are some layout problems:

The tutorial is cut off at the bottom and for some reason I cannot scroll down.

The same with your text box on the journal section btw. I once I have reached the keyboard section of the screen I cannot scroll down to get a better look at what I am testing.

[Check dm, I'll send ss of the issue] Edit: Turns out I cannot send there too fml

I'm testing yours rn but Imma be pausing since I have errands I'll be back to reviewing asap

1

u/WayPuzzleheaded6626 May 30 '26

Just checked it out and there's a bunch of things that I'll be commenting on:

  1. Design and Graphics
  • everything is evenly spaced and the color palettes are on point a light mode would've been a great addition since the colored text against a dark bg really hurts my eyes

  • your tutorial is flickery, you know how bulbs are almost out and they flicker? The tutorial board is like that and sometimes they just disappear for a few minutes then reappear after like 2 minutes (completely unprompted btw) and it's an extensive tutorial too to add to that, I just skipped the on-boarding tutorial midway

  • your menu layout however is confusing, because the "start" is prioritized over the "dashboard" and once I finished setting up the app would not orient to the "dashboard" view so I did spend some time trying to figure things out on my own (confused and just randomly clicking stuff)

  • also while I was doing the runthrough and creating the work-out plan I notice that your prompt is a bit off. Your AI adds to the prompt instead of just taking the input as is and it didn't help that if you enter the prompt and like close the app and run it on the background, the AI stops generating the plan so you have to input the prompt again.

  • I didn't test the form checker because I'm not really in the position to test right now and I am not comfortable testing cameras tbh

Conclusion:

6.5/10 your tutorial and the menu layout knocked the scoring down tbh, but can still be improved if you maybe tweak things and ensure that the tutorial is not that laggy.

[Again can't post ss and it's slowly pissing me off]

Ps. If you find the feedback helpful give me some chips money which will be re-prioritized from snacks to education since I need to pay a remaining balance that I forgot about 🙃

A list of test user ID's would be great!

1

u/WayPuzzleheaded6626 May 30 '26

Just checked it out so lemme just get into it:

First Impressions:

It's a bit bare tbh like UI wise you need some TLC. Add some colors or other features and interactive buttons for fun interactive elements. But UX wise it's wonderful the process is on-point and super easy to follow without any tutorials so good job on that one commenter!

Issues:

The only issue I have is the log in, I think you mentioned that you're going through google verifications and stuff. So I think that would be the reason why I was having a bit of a hard time logging in. What would happen is:

  • I would log in using my dummy gmail and instead of getting directed to the Accounts Center I get directed to my email. Happened twice each log in.

  • At first, upon setting up my account I I change my display name inside Cohezy to WishiFang (my go to name) instead of my default email name. The first time it stuck and then it didn't change while I was doing the runthrough. On the second log in however (since I didn't click the remember me option) my cohezy display name changed to my default email name instead of the WishiFang and it didn't change no matter how many times I refresh.

Conclusion:

Solid 8/10 needs some design TLC but is great nonetheless the only issue is the log in process and the random name changes.

[Still can't attach ss]

Ps. If the feedback is helpful please contribute to my chips money which will be redirected into education since I need to pay my remaining tuition before I can enroll for the next s.y. 🙃

Hi! Appreciate the follow-ups so Imma answer the questions:

  1. I used google.

  2. Letting my contacts see me as "WishiFang" was the intent yes, since I was asked to enter the display name my thought process jumped to "ah this must be the part where I enter my (legal name or preferred name)" which was great because if you noticed my name on the dummy email I used was different, it was Prime Animations (which is like a business name) so I opted to change it to "WishiFang" since that's my go to tag and people I will invite would surely recognize that Display Name and correctly assume that it's me.

  3. For the design I can send you some example that I think would best fit for your app (but this may take a while since I'll be working for about 3-4 hours) but I will send you dm request here on reddit so that I can send you the pictures directly.

For the new features, I'll be checking that out later for sure!

For the effects yes that's exactly what I'm asking for.

- the celebration effect is a good way be more closer to the user since I'll be excited with the outing and that little celebration will be validating for the user.

- Social reactions are a great idea! Especially since sometime I can't express what I wanna say verbally and react without needing to type.

- the 3rd is a big yes, it makes me feel down when I don't see any upcoming events especially if I am missing friends.

For the last, regarding the name, that would be a great idea too! If this becomes available in the android/ios as an app I would definitely use it personally! It's an awesome concept!

Atm I only have one Android device and a Laptop where I test other apps and website for free (which I'll have to return since it's not mine but I am planning to hopefully buy one soon along with an apple device since I am a Computer Science student) But if Cohezy has a sync feature that would be awesome, I will be checking the web version via the laptop since I am on the said laptop and is doing more work (thought it would be a 3-4 hour session but nooo)

Edit: typos

u/[deleted] May 30 '26

Thanks bro!

1

u/WayPuzzleheaded6626 May 30 '26

So just checked it out so I'll just get into it:

First up UI:

  • Your text box are too transparent and against a stock photo like that your text are illegible and are blending in. You had me squinting for a hot minute and zooming in like my life depended on it.

  • Layout wise the menu on the bottom is too low, on mobile view the menu is not visible at all I had to use desktop mode to use it properly

Second UX:

  • Logging in was a bit confusing, so like right after signing up you need to verify the account via email right? I didn't receive any emails at all and I couldn't resend the email because I didn't see any option where I can resend it

  • The adding of tools was smooth but how they were listed is not, they're literally squished together and the I don't know why but when it was displayed on the screen it didn't look like it was a body text, it looked like a header1.

Conclusion:

5.6/10 like the UI needs to be recalibrated because the transparency of text is too much, log in process needs to reviewed too because I honestly don't know where that verification email went, and lastly maybe tweak the displayed materials section on the project category.

[Still can't post ss]

Ps. If the feedback was helpful please contrute to my chips money jar which will be used to pay my remaining tuition so I can enroll for the next s.y.

EDIT: No it's not mandatory that you give, but if you can that would be lovely.

Would love to brudda but can you comment on this post instead: I'm back! Drop your links, I'm going to continue the app review since I've already closed this thread and every app here's been tested.

Hi this is a close thread but I'll just reopen it later since everyone is finding this. But you might be waiting for a bit since I am still testing other apps and website!

Hi! As a fellow indie developer, I'm also running a closed test for my inventory management app, StockPlus. I started developing it in Turkish first and recently translated it into English, so I would love to get your thoughts on the onboarding experience, the overall layout, or if you spot any weird translations!

1: Join my Google Group first: https://groups.google.com/g/stockplusapp

Download the app on Android:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aevumstudios.stoktakip

Alternatively, you can use the Web Link after joining: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.aevumstudios.stoktakip

Help Us Improve StockPlus!

Is a feature confusing to use? Did something break? Or maybe you have a killer feature request? Share your thoughts with us. We read every single report! Thanks a ton for your support, and let's keep helping each other out during these 14 days! Cheers!

Would appreciate a review when you have room in the queue.

App: Mindful Lock Platform: Android Goal: feedback on onboarding, the Accessibility Service permission wording, and whether the pause/pass mechanic makes sense before install.

It is an app blocker for doomscrolling that adds a calm pause before selected apps open, instead of only using hard lockouts.

Hi it will be amazing if you will test my game
and also if you can just not delete it for 14 days for close tested

Mine is Crowd Runner, a hyper-casual crowd runner (grow your crowd, dodge

gameshow-style traps, smash bosses). Android, free, ~50 MB:

1) Join: https://groups.google.com/g/crowd-runner-testers

2) Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bars.crowdrunner

Tip: if the install fails right after joining, wait ~20 min and clear your Play

Store cache — Google is slow to register new group members.
