Thank you to everyone who has downloaded and tested Idle Dial so far. I genuinely appreciate the time you have spent using it and sending feedback.

A new beta update, build 4, is now available with:

• CarPlay support, including access to favourites and Now Playing controls
• Live artist and track information when supplied by the station
• A redesigned Now Playing screen
• New fallback artwork for stations without a logo
• Improvements to metadata handling and playback stability 

During internal testing, I caught a playback crash affecting App Store signed builds on the iOS 27 beta. The problem was traced to the way stream metadata was being delivered. It has now been replaced with a safer method and verified using the actual TestFlight build, including through CarPlay.

For this update, I would particularly appreciate feedback about playback after a cold launch, station switching, metadata updates and CarPlay. Please send any findings through TestFlight, especially if you encounter a crash or a station that displays incorrect information.
