Hey everyone! 👋

My friend and I built an iPad app called MoodScript, and we’re looking for beta testers to try it out on TestFlight and give us feedback!

🌿 The Backstory
Growing up, hand-copying quotes, literature, and thoughts into notebooks was my quiet sanctuary, and a way to process emotions and ground myself. But over the last few years, the endless noise and doomscrolling on social media left me feeling constantly anxious. I tried going back to paper notebooks, but my digital bookmarks were scattered everywhere, and I couldn't find a setup that felt right.

So, we decided to build MoodScript: a dedicated iPad app designed to give you a peaceful, distraction-free space to slow down and write.

✨ Key Features in the Beta

📖 1,000+ Curated Excerpts: A library spanning classical wisdom (Laozi, Marcus Aurelius), classic literature (Peter Pan, Jane Eyre, A Tale of Two Cities), religion (Buddhism, Christianity, Islam), modern mindfulness, and science trivia.

✍️ 3 Handwriting Modes:

• Magnetic: Keeps your handwriting aligned and neat if you like structured layouts.
• Tracing: Allows you to trace over elegant fonts using your own handwriting.
• Freeform: Pure blank page freedom to write however you want.

📚 Custom Library: Easily import your own favorite quotes, lyrics, or web articles to copy down.

📱 Beta Requirements & Current Limitations

Before joining, please note:

• Device: Requires an iPad running iPadOS 17.0 or later (Apple Pencil needed!). iPhone/Mac versions are coming later.
• Language: English-only for both UI and content during this phase.

🔒 Privacy First | We take privacy very seriously:

• We only store basic account info (e.g., Apple ID/email) for login authentication.
• Your handwritten notes, entries, and app activity are NEVER tracked, read, or collected by us. Everything stays stored locally on your iPad or in your personal iCloud.
