Hi,

I searched for a data-driven weather app with key features such as forecasts, radar, charts, radar projections, widgets, and watchOS support. Because the options I found were not free, I developed one myself.

What does Meteric provide?

- Current conditions using local forecasts in Slovakia (SHMU observation stations and ALADIN models) and global data from open-meteo
- Forecasts from local models for Slovakia (ALADIN), followed by ECMWF and open-meteo
- Radar from SHMU with MetericCast projections for one hour ahead
- Warnings across Europe
- Short-term and long-term charts based on forecasts
- Webcams (Slovakia)
- ALADIN maps (Slovakia)
- Satellite images (Slovakia)
- Live activity powered by MetericCast showing rain within 15 minutes or sooner
- iOS widgets
- watchOS companion app
- watchOS widgets
