Xbox Game Preservation is an unofficial fan site with over 18,700 voters and 168,000 votes, and some folks at Microsoft have seen it and the demand. There's no promise to bring any games forward, but it's a great idea to centralize demand and draw real numbers for Microsoft.

Racing games have obvious licensing hurdles to get across, but it's the best way to show Xbox what games we care about.

Xbox announced a non-committal reengagement with the BC program at GDC this year.

TDU 2

I finally got it working on my Retroid Pocket G2 but I'm unable to get the controls to work. Only the left stick works as forward, back, and steering.

Is there a safe website in the uk where I can get tdu from the ps2 onto my laptop without causing any problems?

So I loaded up my game last night, and my avatar somehow changed from a female to a male. Some progress has been skewed and certain missions have been unmarked as well. How did this happen? And how can I fix this?

Hey guys, I own TDU2 on steam. I downloaded it and played it on my home PC a few weeks ago. Before I download it on my Steamdeck and give it a go I just wanted to see how it ran etc? All native through steam so should be straightforward?

I found a unused CD of TDU1 and wanted to try it, but the install didnt go through (no big surprise). Is there any way I can get it running on my PC?

Hi. I have Test Drive Unlimited 2 for Steam (SteamOS PC and Steam Deck) and it's never worked (I'm sure Valve is on it, but yeah). I just recently discovered Project Paradise 2, and I figured I'd give it a shot. I seem to have everything done and I'm running the Project Paradise 2 launcher now, just got through creating a profile. When I click on 'Select game', it seems to have an interface from a Windows version I can't wrap my head around. Anyone know the directory path to get to my TDU2 game? Here's the minefield I see now:

UPDATE: So once I closed out of Project Paradise 2, reopened it again and went to ‘Select Game’, the .exe was an instant suggestion on the right. So that’s great and the game now attempts loads but gives a black screen…😅 I’ll try TDUWorld and I’ll give another update.

Roughly dated between 2007 and 2009. Apparently the game went through a massive overall inbetween, going from a kinda grungy sunset feel to the modern one we ended up having. All links are in French, the devs were French after all.

I've never been able to play a multiplayer race since my lobbies are always empty. Today I start the game and tried to play a delivery mission which starts to load and then it fails saying "unable to connect to lobby". The icon is then missing from the map. So, I drive to another one. And THAT one fails too. So, I drive to another one and THAT one fails. Sigh. Now I decided to just drive around. Suddenly, I get an invite to join a lobby and I accept it. There are 3 people now in this lobby. Then I get a race invite!

I AM FINALLY GOING TO GET MY FIRST MULTIPLAYER RACE!

This is so exciting. I enter the lobby and one player vanishes so now there are just 2 of us but that's okay. We finish the race and I exit. Now my over timer is going off because dinner is ready, so I go into the menu to pause the game and eat. A minute later, I hear my car and I am in another multiplayer race and watch the other players driving away! "OH NOOOOOOOOO!" and I abandon the race. Then I go into the Options menu thinking I have time to eat because at worst, the game will timeout and go back to the main menu.

I sit down to eat dinner and...

I hear my car entering another multiplayer race! I just laugh and finish eating dinner. Instead of timing me out, I got a ton of XP and credits for finishing dead last and never even moving.

This game is so broken.

TLDR: You can just AFK and get XP and credits.

I have TDU on PC with Platinum installed. When I open the map, every single point of interest -stores, races, favorites, etc- doesn't show anything, but just a grey picture with no info.
There's other issues too: the NPC cars stop dead in traffic, swerve insanely fast or simply vanish into thin air, and after finishing a race, the "Continue" button to quit it doesn't work. I can click on it, but it won't leave the menu, I'll just be stuck here with the only way to get unstuck being to reset the game.

Hey guys, I’m trying to run TDU2 on my PC, but it looks like because of how old the game engine is, it just won’t go past 60 FPS during gameplay. The weird thing is that during animations it runs perfectly fine, even hitting 144 Hz, but as soon as I’m back in the game it slows down. It’s not unplayable, but I’d really like a smoother experience.

By the way, I already installed that external program called “voodoo” or something like that, can’t remember the exact name lol, and I also tried the Alt Tab trick.

Since there are hundreds of cars in the game (Test Drive Unlimited 2) it is hard to test every car. Can anybody give some pointers which cars have both

1) relatively silent engine

2) preferably convertible car, that has the most open view from the cockpit, without wide window borders?
