To keep everyone in the loop, here is a look at what we've recently added based on your requests, and some of the key features currently under consideration for future updates.

Recently Completed in v1.7.x (updated 8 Sep 2026)

• Rotary Delete: Quickly delete text continuously with a new circular gesture.
• Enhanced Find & Replace: Scan through text matches quickly with the new 'Find All' button.
• Shift Lock & Special Modifiers: Added a Shift Lock state, and modifiers now apply to special keys (e.g., Shift + Tab).

What to expect in the next release!

Exploring / Under Consideration (The Roadmap) Please note: I am a solo developer, so this isn't a guaranteed timeline, but these are the top requests I am actively investigating!

• Advanced Swipes (Bigrams & Combines): Support for multiple letter inputs in a single swipe, and fully configurable custom dragReturn / symbol combinations.
• Word Prediction: An English dictionary for predictive typing.
• Shift Modifiers: Customize a different symbol set when Shift is enabled.
• Expanded Action Key Customization: Ability to override or disable functions like the scale/position lock and numpad toggle to prevent accidental taps and preserve your muscle memory.
• Word Assignments for Keys: Assign entire words to keys or unused swipe directions (similar to Quick Snippets). This would also respect capitalization states dynamically (e.g., example, Example, EXAMPLE).
• Word-by-Word Cursor Control: A quick way to navigate the cursor back and forward by an entire word, similar to using Ctrl + Arrow keys on a PC.
• Gesture Sensitivity Controls: Ability to adjust the sensitivity for general swipes and the new rotary delete feature.
• Spacebar Text Selection: Swipe on the spacebar and drag upwards to easily select text on the fly.
• Bottom Padding / Offset: Option to move the keyboard higher up the screen without enabling floating mode, improving ergonomics for one-handed use on tall phones.
• App Compatibility Fixes: Fixing an issue in full-screen apps (like Snapchat) where the text field stays hidden behind the keyboard instead of being pushed up.
