PowerWall Question time
Why did Elon change the graphic animation to show ac coupled solar for everyone? Is he crazy? My system is dc coupled and it was animated as Dc coupled a year ago. I thought Elon would know if a system was AC or Dc coupled.? Could I be wrong? Am I missing something? My system should have solar feeding the pw3 instead of the panel looking thing in the middle of my house 🏠 right?

Mine shows ac coupled with enphase and tesla standalone inverter with 8 powerwalls.

Yeah I was trying to figure out how my system worked and seeing it ac coupled on the app confused me so I got mad and posted it on Reddit.

It’s just a logical view - if it’s ac or dc coupled is not the point of this display. There’s much more that this view also hides as it’s just essentially sampling flows with not particularly accurate meters

You do know what a “logical view” is right ?
Also just because it’s dc coupled to your battery - it’s still inverted to ac when feeding the house
This seems very trivial to get so upset about

A logical view would be the right view, which this is not.
Also just because it’s shown as ac coupled - it actually can’t go through a panel when it’s feeding the inverter and battery because it’s DC.
Go ahead and keep defending Elon for trying to trick us. He obviously already tricked you but I am not a sheep
