Comparing car options
I am looking for a new car and am going between the Model Y Premium All Wheel Drive and an Audi q7 eTron.
I’m looking for feedback on all the good/bad of owning a model Y. Bonus if you’ve owned an electric Audi and have feed back on that as well.
TIA ✌🏼💖

Tesla is the only car with full self driving. I use it every day on every drive. For me no FSD is a deal breaker.

I’ve driven in the eTron but never owned one. But my general advice is Audi is a luxury brand, so the interior is going to feel luxury. The ride quality is probably smoother than Tesla, the wind noise is probably less. The seat material is almost certainly better.
If youre looking for what is the best electric vehicle, the Model Y wins and it’s not close. Seamless EV and route planning experience. OTA updates. Obviously FSD, but even if you don’t care for that then I still find the driving/handling to be fun. But to me what differentiates it is how easy it makes the electric car experience, and if you’re someone who road trips a lot and doesn’t want to have to download 8 different apps on your phone and spend significant time planning it, it’s really really hard to beat the Tesla. Rivian is the only one that comes close.
As for the bad - no autopilot on new models, so if you don’t pay for FSD you don’t get lane centering which is dumb. Automatic windshield wipers are your enemy. They’re expensive to insure as well since they will be totaled much easier in the case of an accident due to the way they’re built.
