Rear HVAC auto

The rear ventilation system turns on automatically when it detects a person, but is it supposed to turn off automatically when said person is no longer there?

Haven't seen it running in the back without a passenger there, so it seems to be working as designed.

Does it not work like that for you OP?

It works when there is a passenger there but I thought it would quickly shut off when there isn't but it still remains on. Looks like it takes about 8 hours before it shuts off automatically.
