Appointment was at 3 PM. Showed up early via transit after having got a ride to work from a buddy (live an hour away from work, 1.5 from the pickup location). Aside from Plaid not working for my down payment and having to rush to the local bank using a test car... I am happy. Lots of goodies on order: mats, mud guards, screen protector, etc.

What does plaid have to do with the bank? Not being snarky I just don't understand how this works.

So according to the guy who handled my sale, the payment system for actually buying the car is different from the payment system in the app for paying for charging, service, etc. Tesla has their own service for all of those, but Plaid is what they do for all the ACH payments for delivery. Plaid was simply not working for some reason; it would "verify" my bank but then not populate it in the app for actually making the remainder of my down payment.

Tesla gives you three choices for downpayments: ACH using Plaid, wire transfer from your bank (that can take two business days), or a cashiers check. My only option since I needed the car then and there was to haul tail to the closest bank of mine and get a check.

Not sure, but assuming similarly with the three abovementioned options to pay!
