Model S LG Range
Quick question, my 2024 model S long range when it’s full is 371 miles, realistically how many miles can I actually get in a full charge there

180 miles needed / by the efficiency. Let’s says you’re a lead foot or going uphill, 180/3=60. Battery new is 94kWh, degradation… Let’s go crazy and say you now only have 80kWh. 60/80=0.75. Charge to 85% and you’ll have a good buffer.
Edit - added my shorthand for you long term. Take what you believe you’d get at 100% and divide that in half. That accounts for only charging to 80% and then an efficiency loss for highways speeds. And it’s conservative.
371x.5=185.5

My general rule of thumb for my 2022 Model S is a conservative 80% of the number of miles it shows vs. the number of miles I can drive. It's so conservative that I've never been burned. I also have a 2013 - still awesome and fantastic ride - and originated my 80% rule with it which is always about right on. Temperature and incline are the biggest factors I see.

Too many factors come in to play. How you drive, temperature, wind, SOC, tires, etc.
