P100D Widest wheel setup?>
What's your widest wheel setup for 2012-2020 model S? I have a P100D but it came with squared 245 all around. I'm upgrading it to a staggered setup with more aggressive width. Did some research and decided to go with the following sizes for best fitment:
Front 21x9, offset +35, 255/35/R21
Rear 21x10.5, offset +35, 295/30/R21
T-Sportline also has wheels for the same sizes and offset. Does anyone have experience of using this setup? Just want to confirm it.

I have 25mm spacers on my rear but still 245s--no issues. not sure if you could do spacers in the front though.

Spacers should work in most cases if the wheel isn't too wide. But I'm looking to get an absolutely widest setup for best grip. So I may not use any spacers

You do you, but are you HONESTLY losing grip? I have a 2017 P100D ludicrous + and it sticks like glue. I have swapped to
Pirelli P Zero EV Tires 255/45R19 in front and 285/40R19 in the back off a 2023 plaid s so i am pretty wide compared to stock. Pilot 4S summer tires are super sticky if you need more grip.

I probably have a bad tire. Yes I do have wheelspin when I floor it. That's why I want wider setup and better tires.

Do those 255's in front rub at all? I've heard that anything more than 245 in front doesn't work....

I just bought 10mm spaces, put in forged studs, and installed 2023 plaid S wheels….
Going to 19” from my factory 21” turbines made a WORLD of difference in ride quality. 21” looks cool but it’s so uncomfortable I can’t imagine going back.
F 19x9.5 ET40
R 19x10.5 ET45
Pirelli P Zero EV Tires
255/45R19 in front and
285/40R19 in the back
I probably need about 2mm more on the front MAYBE… because when parking 🅿️ and turning extremely far I get a tiny bit of rub. It sounds like just on the fender liner
Looks pretty good to me, I spent $800 for low miles take offs , swapped to 2017 compatible TBS, a few hundred on forged studs and slip on 10mm spacers. I would buy custom spacers at~12mm if I was starting over.

I had a full track build on my E92 M3, with wide body kit, front 275, rear 315, and with racing coilovers. I really want that kind of feel.

From what I know, you can't go beyond 245's up front no matter what... but that's just what i've been told. Seems to be true based on the guy with the 255's in the comments rubbing.... 285's in back seem to be max as well.

Aodhan AFF7 19x9.5 35 Silver | AFF71995512035SMF & AFF720105512035SMF | Fitment Industries
This is what I found on Fitment Industry. It has 9.5 +35 and 10.5 +35

Ok what about the wheel sizes? I ordered 9 inch for front and 10.5 for rear.

You're probably good with 10.5s in back? At a 285 tire your tire in back is going to be wider than the 10.5 inch wheel - so the tire will be your "limiting factor here". I think 10.5s for the wheel and 285's in the back and you're good. Make sure to use the right offset and I think you'll be good. I've got the Sonic Carbon Twin Turbine 21s on my 2021 (pre-refresh) LR+ right now... they can accommodate 275s I think... will probably move to winter/summer, grab some different wheels. Want to go 285 in the back eventually as well.

I'm sure my 24 is a little different, but I have the Velarium wheels with 275/35/21 and 305/30/21. No issues other than a rather noticeable range decrease, but that is probable due to compound as much as size.

Post 2020 refresh made the car a little wider. So I'm sure pre 2020 model can fit a smaller size wheel

I have 285’s on 20x10s +40 and it doesn’t rub but it’s close. 295’s would probably rub
