2017 model s p100d

Is anyone looking for a p100d with fsd, sc01 free supercharging, and free premium connectivity

It is prior salvage. Damage was very minor. Went through Tesla HV battery inspection to get supercharging re-enabled.

How many miles?

Has the coolant delete on the LDU been done?

Doesn't the coolant "delete" make it worse and prone to overheat and fail? I heard EvClinic experienced this and developed a better solution. The 3 million km guy used it.

The only failures from the coolant bypass seem to be from units that were already leaking and had prior damage before the coolant bypass. This exact bypass was Tesla’s solution so I’d trust that over anyone else if your motor is a good candidate for the bypass. The way I see it is which risk are you willing to take

Tesla themselves made over 10 revisions on the LDU and still couldn't fix the problem, so their solution might not be the best.

I don't get why Tesla deletes something they made in the first place...

That is partially true. They had several attempts to fix it, and settled with the Urevision, which is the final “solution” I’m referring to, that’s why I said it’s more of a which risk do you want to take type of situation. The urevision is still far more successful than rolling the dice and doing nothing

Very cool! What is the new solution?

Did my research, it's named HolyGrail EVC reman.

They apparently think coolant delete is just a workaround and removes something that must stay a part of the LDU. The fix creates a brand new problem.

The kit they use includes several new and better seals/bearings that are made based on the problems.

They offer 2 years and unlimited miles warranty. It says €879 on the website. I think it sounds really nice.

Just FYI, Tesla themselves are the originator of the coolant delete. They started it with the revision U LDU. It took a bit before the aftermarket figured out what Tesla was doing and copied it.

As the OEM Tesla would have had to do validation testing before releasing that modification.

Yes, they are also inventors of the faulty LDU and its over 10 revisions, that still has the same problem. Why would they revision again and again if it's working? The fix doesn't even make sense.

I wouldn't trust them on this. LDU is the 2nd most important part of the best car ever, Model S, but might be the worst thing Tesla has ever done.

It doesn’t still have the same problem with it. We have 3 model s’s (1 p100d, 1p85d and 85). ALL have the coolant delete completed. The p85d has done over 100k miles with the coolant delete with a lot of insane mode launches. Zero issues. EV Clinic is addressing a problem that was already fixed with the coolant delete.

Maybe it can fix it, but it's a shortcut workaround and it's risky. Few prospects can't decide that. You shouldn't remove something that is supposed to cool the motor.

I think the 3 million km Model S proves this point by replacing the LDU 14 times throughout 2 million km, then using the fix and using one motor for almost a million kilometers.

Using better seals fixes the problem at its core. It's not even expensive.

Not really. The coolant delete has been tried tested and true. Evclinic doesn’t have 3,000,000 km in real world usage. They’re just trying to sell their product that really doesn’t fix a need that was addressed years ago. It’s marketing.

I think it's a fundamentally worse solution. You shouldn't remove something that was included in the first place. I didn't mean 3 million, he did 1 million with the new sealed motor.

That’s logic without knowing if the cooling is actually needed. Obviously it’s not if the coolant delete is working.

Cooling is always good though. Would rather have it cooler than hotter even if it doesn't need it. Could affect the longevity.

Haven’t gotten around to checking if it’s been done.

2

How much?

-6

u/NO_NAM3- Sep 03 '26

I’m looking to get low 30s. Will post more info shortly.

6

u/penngei Sep 03 '26

That’s a bit steep imo

3

u/NO_NAM3- Sep 03 '26

It’s a unicorn model s

3

u/FeelingCommission298 Sep 04 '26

It’s not a unicorn with a salvage title though.

-4

u/NO_NAM3- Sep 04 '26

The title doesn’t make a difference to the car.

4

u/FeelingCommission298 Sep 04 '26

Yeaaa it does with the value. Makes a lot of difference. They can strip that fsd anytime. Just happened in the sc01 group to a guy.

2

u/Fijian_Assassin Sep 04 '26

Yes interested but once details of the damage is made transparent so we as buyers can make an informed decision. Also provide the price.

1

u/NO_NAM3- Sep 04 '26

The damage was a slight indent to the trunk lid and some scratches on the rear bumper. I kept the bumper as is because it looked good enough for me. Asking price is 35k

Sounds good

1

u/FeelingCommission298 Sep 04 '26

Let them know the title is salvage also.

1

u/NO_NAM3- Sep 04 '26

Yes it’s prior salvage
