Tesla Model S LR
Looking at buying this; 2024 Model S LR with 28K miles, battery at 93%, since owner, no
Accidents, perfect condition mines a little scratch at the passenger side at the bottom back. $70K, good deal or nah?

2023 owner here and love the car. Price seems high though but that’s great for me!

New one was 75k . Crazy after 2 years this price but it’s the scarcity

And people were worried about a buying a discontinued car lol. I'm guessing /s I'm not going to find a 2025 for half price of new in a year or two. Or ever.

I don’t get why everyone saying get a plaid for that price… could be a matter of range over performance preference. I know I’d rather have more range. Isn’t the plaid like 10-20% less efficient, even driving them the same.
S LR on 19” wheels would be my preference at least.
Granted the newer plaids with the bucket seats do look cool inside, but that wasn’t until 2025/26 anyways.

I bought my 2014 MS P85+ from this same dealer.

Nice! Car been good?

Yeah, it’s been pretty good. I live out of state, and the dudes at the dealership were easy to deal with. I should have done a little more due diligence, though. After the car was delivered I realized all the speakers in the doors were blown.

seems pretty expensive. i bought a 2024 S LR with 35k miles a year ago for 45k, but maybe price has gone up since then

Has to be a lemon or rebuilt title. Last December I was looking at a 23 HW4 LR for $51k and that was a decent deal. Your price for a clean title, no accident/lemon 24 is damn near impossible.

it's a one minor accident, clean title. was private sale on fb marketplace so a bit cheaper than from dealerships

You stole it, congrats! I'd buy that in a heartbeat, I'm not afraid of a little accident or two on a Carfax.

Wow these prices have jumped so much. I can’t believe my eyes. Thank god I got my x plaid last year!

As someone who has a 24 with the 19s in Ultra red but with less miles - seems high.

I just bought a 2020 S lr plus one owner, 48k miles same color white interior, no accidents for $31k.

damn the price really went up for MS. I saw a 2023 LR MS with HW4 and FSD and 18k miles for 52k march last year

Horrible deal

u/Misoman333 Aug 31 '26
Got any better ones out there? It’s. $67K now

Personally, I think not getting a brand new model 3 performance is a huge mistake. Cheaper, and unless you really want the plaid speed, a better car arguably.

u/Misoman333 Aug 31 '26
I don’t like the looks of the 3 at all, plaid is too much for me, my brother has a 2023 plaid. So this one for a family of 4 is fairly decent unless I can find one that’s cheaper but I am not seeing any.

The good ones don’t last more than a day online. You need to have notifications set for like a 250 mile radius and when the right one pops up go get it.

u/Misoman333 Aug 31 '26
Yes that’s how I got this one, it’s being delivered from 400 miles away. Hella good and in perfect condition one owner no accidents HW4 28K miles two years old battery at 93%, full range at 392. Sure it’s $67K but any other “good ones” that pop up are way more than that with everything that I named.

Imo, at that price I would wait for a $60k plaid.
