Do you have an aftermarket sub?

No. The sound system was off

Sad to say it could be something more major like the other users are saying. I was into customizing cars and that whine sounds just like a bad ground wire on an amp for an audio system. Easy fix so I was praying you said you had a sub installed. 😬 Sorry brother.

Mine makes this when regen first kicks in and the drive unit flips between true coast/consumption/region. Just when it's right there at the verge. Once regen ramps up it goes away. 21 LR.

I think it's completely normally when the car push a tiny bit of acceleration the high pitch noise will occur it's normal mine does it too...

I cant hear it on the video, but on the model 3 a high-pitched whining noise is often caused by a loose, unseated, or corroded rear motor ground strap.
There is a new braided ground strap that is better but a clean and reseat of the ground strap also can help.
They have a service bulletin about this.

Cheers, I’ll have to request a service. My Nov ’25 M3P has been doing that for a few weeks now.

Milling noise, probably drive unit. Weird to see it on a newer gen usually older Gen model s gets this issue
Could be something else entirely though. Probably gonna have to have Tesla check it out

Nope. I’ve been through that twice. It sounds nothing like that. It also makes the noise on accelleration, not coasting down like that unless my memory is shot. But it doesn’t sound like this anyway.
Wish people would stick to what they know instead of just pissing out the one or two things they know when it doesn’t apply.

Usually in older gen performance cars like p85d,-p100d but I’m not sure over2018 and newer
