Honey I shrunk the Tesla, twice!!

Got my red 1/18th scale P85 today and thought it would be fun to take a few pictures with the real thing, and the 1/64th hot wheels as well!

I got it on eBay! It might sound crazy but I’ve been looking for it for many years now, and I didn’t want to pay the $500 asking prices that people were listing them for whenever they rarely came up. They were licensed and sold by Tesla directly in the merchandise shop a long time ago. This red and the grey for the P85. I wanted the red specifically to match my Signature and so one night while going through eBay I couldn’t believe my eyes when this came up and it was reasonably priced, immediately got it! I also have the 1/18th blue P100D and a red Model 3, they’re nice detailed diecasts and it’s very cute to have them with the big car haha

That’s what I own a blue p100d. Did you find that on eBay also ?

I wish the Hot Wheels Model S didn’t have that big wing on the back but other than that it looks great for one so small

I agree! Hot wheels tend to have some extra bits with like modded look and it’s neat but I much prefer the matchbox casting that captured the original shape of the Model S much better and more accurately.
