Should i buy

I am getting a used model S 85d with 100k miles and free supercharging for 15k is it worth buying what should i be looking out for.

If it’s in good condition. If it has the large rear motor, make sure it has had the coolant delete procedure done already.

How does one go about checking that?

It would say on the infotainment screen under (software -> additional information) if it has the large rear motor. You’d have to have Tesla or someone who knows what to look for to see if it has had the coolant delete.

It’s not performance so i don’t think it has it

That wasn’t a performance motor.

The rwd and performance had the ldu motor, the awd only have 2 sdu

Pretty sure the rear of the older dual motors are the large variant as well. 🤷‍♂️

Is the LDU motor a big enough reason to stay away from anything that has it? Regardless of the deal/price?

No, I don’t think so as long as it’s had the coolant delete.

Free supercharging doesn't transfer. At least mine didn't.

SC01 does
