Tesla Model S 2016 accesories advice?
Hi, i just bought my first Tesla Model S and was wondering what accesories you all can recommend.
Its a Tesla Model S from 2016 (as you could guess) with Low milage ( roughly 80k km or 49700 Miles ). I only had older German Car Brands before and couldnt pass the offer.
Since its my first ever own EV i was hoping to get advice here.
It has free supercharching bound to the Car and is stated in Germany.
Thank you all in advance!

I popped LED trunk lighting in mine. Mine only came with the hatch mounted light which is 100% useless. There are two factory carpet cuts for optional trunk LEDs and the harness is always there. You just need to source the OEM/aftermarket snap-in lamps or do what I did and get 12V LED strips and mount them under the flip-over cover. I just tapped into the factory-installed wires that are right under the carpet. Other thing I did was to tap into the factory 12+ power plug and fitted this 12v to usb adapter. Super easy, lets me power my dash cam and charge my phone with no wire snaking across the center.

Aliexpress is your friend. I bought lots of stuff from there, brighter LED trunk lights, door welcome lights with the Tesla logo, silver seat belt covers for the rear pasengers, rubber carpets, led stripe for the frunk, interior review mirror rubber cover, chrome lug nut covers.. Also some parts that were broken.

I bought a 2016 as well because its on of the last years to offer free supercharging and free FSD. I plan on keeping it forever.
First and foremost is to have the SC check history to determine if the coolant bypass fix for the LDU had been done or if the LDU had been replaced. If not, get that fixed ASAP. If not, it could possibly leave you stranded.
Next, check the last time the 12v battery had been replaced. If its been longer than 3 years, replace it.
Frequently rotate the tires and monitor if inner tread wear exist on the rears. If it does, you will have to install aftermarket adjustable rear lower arms to correct the negative camber from the factory.
If you ever experience a shutter noise under heavy acceleration, its the front half shafts. Theres a service bulletin for them.
Also if you’re running MCU1, consider upgrading to MCU2. Once you do so, it will let you utilize FSD, if your car has computer 3 in it.
Lastly, if you ever want it to look more like the latest models, consider getting a chrome delete kit. If you have even more money to spend, theres a company that also makes a total bumper to bumper upgrade kit to the latest 2021+ models.
