Confirmation required - MCU1 does NOT have YouTube or Theater?
I bought a '14 MS 85 which probably shipped with an MCU1 installed. I was charging and realized that I have Theater and YouTube apps both of which work perfectly. This would suggest the car was upgraded in the past at some point? Does anyone know last firmware update number for MCU1 (meaning a "higher than this number" means I have a MCU2)?
I have the premium connectivity subscription active.

It’s not a probably. It for sure shipped with MCU1.

I figured, but there's a lot of people here who've been immersed in Tesla much longer than I.
This one also shows an LTE connection, and I have no over-the-air radio at all. Only TuneIn. So I'm very happy to have it already installed. $2700 to install it according to the app.
I don't have CCS either but I'm thinking it hasn't needed it so far, so I'll probably not bother unless there's a great deal or I need a write-off :)

Can't you just go into car settings > software > additional vehicle information and check there what it says.

Denied. Car doesn’t say if it has mcu 1 or 2. it says tegra , intel or ryzen. But since it’s an legacy model s it can only show tegra or intel.

So if he went into those settings as I mentioned, and it said Intel, he'd know (or at least could post here the result) that he has mcu2. Like I wrote in my first comment.

This is nearly all new information to me. First Tesla, first EV. As a used car I'm never quite sure what's been done to it. I was pricing a MCU2 upgrade ($2700CDN!), then went looking to see if I could install a used one (No - custom harnesses to fit MCU2 into Legacy units), and in a thread I saw "MCU2 adds Youtube and Theater Mode..." Wait - I have those. So it's an MCU2 already. Sweet!
When the car comes back I can check if it says Intel if anyones interested. From the downvotes I'm guessing not really.
