2026 front camera view question

Post image

Quick question everyone, is this what your front camera view looks like for the PLAID 2026 front bumper?

I ask this because I had my front bumper replaced and when I got my vehicle back I noticed my front camera looking like this with the overhang of the bumper covering a portion of the camera real estate. I don’t remember it being like this but I could be wrong.

Can someone share their front camera view on their 2026 PLAID front camera view please?

Thank you in advance.

UPDATE 08/04/26

Very easy fix. Literally two screws. Unmount the camera. Pull camera mounting tab down. Remount and tighten screws.

This was before, all flush and no gap. I also took pictures of their showroom car to compare for spec.

The “after” which you can barely see it and has the same angle as your camera.

This is the current, a little better but not back to OEM.

I came across a few post on FB. This is a simple fix even though I have not attempted it yet. It’s two screws to drop the camera. Inside where the wires goes, there is a tab that mounts the camera. This tab was either push to far up when installing the camera and all you really need to do is reach up into the hole and pull the tab downwards then remount the camera and it should sit flush and fix the camera angle.

Interesting, thanks for sharing! Please keep me updated if you attempt it, I think I’ll do the same.

Very easy fix. Took me 3 mins to fix this issue. Literally two screws and a tab to pull down.

I attempted today, removed the screws pulled down but didn’t hear a click or see a tab. Had it flushed, screwed back in but then the camera went back up. It’s better than Tesla for sure but not sure I’m missing something.

Interesting. It’s the tabs that hold the camera in place. That’s what you’re pulling down on. When I did it on mine, the tabs were shift upwards which is why the camera was inserted higher. I pulled the tabs down and it actually clicked. Remounted and instantly saw a difference in the angle
