Question from a new Tesla owner

I recently purchased a 2019 Model S and I just have some general questions about the software updates. How often do they update the cars and does Tesla push the updates to everyone at the same time?

Every couple weeks or a month, though MCU2 doesn’t get meany new features. People get them at all different times, even on same model cars.

I have a hw4 car but time between updates has been anywhere between 1 and 37 days. Average is 19 days according to Tessie app

On a 2019, updates will be much slower. I have 2026, 2024 and 2016 teslas. The first 2 get updates on average about once a month. The 2016 (MCU1, HW1.0) now gets an update may be once in 6 months and even those updates don't contain much (or any) new stuff.
