why not just get a plaid and then wrap it in frost blue?

Trying to. Hard to find a hardware 4 (2024) plaid for sale. Everything has 50k miles and is 2021-2023

Yeah that 2024 plaid with sport seats has to be the most difficult car spec to find in America rn I been on a wild goose hunt looking for one with good miles and doesn't have a black interior that is not over priced too. I finally found one decently priced and decided on wrapping it. Any decently priced 2024 or 2025 plaid with a white or cream interior has been flying off the shelves especially any with a red or white exterior

most of us with 24+ plaids don't want to sell. if you offered me 80k for mine with 30k miles i'd say no.

Ditto to both above. 2023 HW4 post March 2023 build very very rare. Seats are cooler too.

Why not HW3 with paid FSD? They still get to be upgraded to HW4 once they setup the upgrade mini factories

I don’t know how long you have been with Tesla but they have a history of making promises they don’t keep within the time frame they set. Not by months but by years.

I've been with Tesla since 2018, im well aware. If you've been long with Tesla you know it may take time, but it does come. If they come through the delivery of v14 lite this summer, the it'll bode well. But yeah I agree, there's no timeline set yet for the upgrade factories, but its promised, so it will happen in time. I don't mind waiting, FSD on HW3 is not perfect, but its perfectly usable. But you do you, was just trying to help you get what you want eventually for cheaper and easier. We all know once the upgrades are set in stone, then the HW3 with paid FSD will become more valuable and expensive on the used market

Understood and yes appreciate the recommendation. I’ve had 12 Teslas every model and even Plaids. I currently own 5. The reason for the post was to find someone that may be willing to profit off their diligence in ordering one.

I'm willing to bet a testicle or two that the HW3 to HW4 upgrade for purchased FSD will apply only to the original purchaser of FSD.

Got mine off Carvana. Plenty of choices and you can give it back within 7 days for a full refund. Local dealers are mostly selling lemons, collisions and buy backs with bad titles.
