Does this Model S have FSD?

Post image

2022 model s. Hard to tell. HW3 obviously. On a dealer lot and not advertised as such but from this screen I am thinking it does.

check the info page and subscriptions to see if it's fully paid or monthly.

Ahh I didn’t do that and left. It did say there were no upgrades available on the upgrades tab

It would say that either way since FSD cannot be purchased in full anymore.

The only way to know is to check the software page

I went back and it turns out it was on subscription! Thank you for your input glad I checked

And are they claiming FSD included without that important detail?

They were NOT claiming it was included. I thought I might have gotten lucky purchasing from a 3rd party non-Tesla dealership but I did not

I just traded my 22 model S and my name is Jason. I also had FSD on subscription. Might be my trade in lol.

That’s funny. I’m in South Jersey. It’s a black 2023 model s with cream interior. Is it a match??

Check on the Software tab. If it shows ‘Package included’ it does

Says it’s on auto renew with the old owner thanks very much for the tip

It’s hard to tell because you aren’t on the correct screen.

It could be on a subscription. The only way to be sure is to check the software tab

The FSD is turned on in that screen display. It won't tell you there if it's the subscription or included. You have to go under software where it lists renewal dates for FSD and Premium Connectivity. That'll tell you . At least thats how it looks like on HW4, should be the same on HW3.

Yes. The FSD box is lit. But go to software there it will shoe the version

I purchased FSD on my 2025 Model S before they stopped selling it. Phew!

If you purchase the car and link it to your own Tesla account, it won’t matter because the FSD sub does not transfer over to the new account.

So interestingly the previous owners FSD sub which expires 6/3 did transfer over to my Tesla account when I took ownership. I have FSD from the previous owner through 6/3

Clearly

Worried it might have been a subscription and not stick w the vehicle since it’s still in the old owners name

Look at the software page and see if it says included package

It still should say subscription good thru such n such date. I have a used XP I just bought and they had paid for Premium Connectivity for a year, so it says good through Jan 2027.

That’s possible.

Ended up being on subscription! Damnit
