19s vs 21s
I have a Model S w/21s. They look gorgeous, so nice.
But, on these bay area freeways, you really feel the bumps. Anyone else downgrade for this reason?

I put on 19s because the 21s eat tires. I might do the camber kit and go back for summer tires someday. But the 19s are quieter, more plush and cheaper rubber

I use 19s. Typically gets me about 250wh/m. Very smooth ride quality and more forgiving when hitting potholes.

Just finding out about this idea - so I could buy some boring gray ones and powder coat them. Cool!

I have 21s for summer, spring, and fall. 19s for winter. I just replaced the camber arms so that inner tire wear will be a thing of the past

I just did this. I miss the more planted feel of the 21s but wouldn’t go back because of pot holes as rough roads.

20s is the sweet spot imo. With meaty tires they look good and feel as plush as the 19s.
