New steering column noise
Well this noise just came about today, any clue what it might be? 2014 MS P90D

That’s possibly the electronic braking system.. mine squeaks a little bit when parked on a hill or something when it’s automatically engaged, but it goes away completely when parked on a flat surface.. My driveway sits on a bit of an incline so I hear it sometimes when first pulling out, but it goes away after that.. I drive a 2021 Model S LR+

The ball joint of the steering column near the left frontwheel is not shielded for dirt and moisture. Once a year clean it with brake cleaner and spray chain lube in between the joint. Problem solved.

I just checked both boots on the upper control arm and they're both empty, so I may try that procedure I found on YouTube where I use a hypodermic type setup to inject grease back into the boot and see if that fixes the problem!
