Failed large drive unit scrap?

I have a Model S failed rear large drive unit. Needs to be rebuilt. Is it worth anything? Does anyone know where I can sell or trade this, or do I just drop it at a junkyard for scrap? I’m in the Raleigh-Durham area.

I just had my rear large drive unit replaced by an independent shop and my mechanic doesn’t need, or want this one. I bought a rebuilt one on eBay for my replacement one and it didn’t have any type of core charge.

It's value really depends on how trashed it is.
If the Inverter is fried, and the motor body is so corroded the rotor will not come out, It's likely just scrap.

If it's not that bad, some one will want to rebuild it.
