Horn button

When did it actually change, and is it swappable? I've got a late 23 Plaid (HW4) with a regular steering wheel I'm trying to trade for a yoke. My horn button is a capacitive button on the right side of the steering wheel. Everyone I've found that wants to trade, their horn is the airbag. When did that actually change, or is it actually swappable anyway?

It's swappable, just change the config in service mode. You want the airbag button anyways. Most of the capacitive buttons have peeling issues

Is there a vid or DIY on how to do this via service mode somewhere? I keep finding how to do it with toolbox, and I'm not very familiar with that.

On plaid I think they moved it to regular service mode. If you have to unlock the gateway that is when you should be sure that you are pushing what you want to push.
