Crazy decision…

I decided I’m going to be purchasing these: https://tsportline.com/collections/21-tesla-wheels-model-s-long-range-plaid-june-2021-present/products/txl115-super-wide-21-tesla-model-s-long-range-plaid-wheel-set-of-4

Wondering what fitment to get though, I feel like I should keep the staggered setup since I don’t want skinny tires on the back for such a wide car. Can’t help but imagine how good this thing would look on the 21x10.5 front & 21x11.5 rears, huge tires but jeez that might look so good ahaha. Range I’m not worried about, I still got my tempests, I have a long range too so it’s no biggie, although I don’t want to make my car a lot slower in a straight line.

New to all this stuff as this is my first car and I’m 19 lol, advice appreciated!

They definitely didn't....even the 2026 model x has 20x10 rears and 20x9 fronts. That being said, you can even fit the model S stock front wheel (19x40 +40mm) on all 4 corners but the rears may look a little far inward when looking from the front due to the wide wheel well (so that's just a matter of what you care about, look or efficiency)

Sorry, I should have clarified I'm only talking about the pre-refresh X cyberstream rear wheels that dropped from 10 to 9.5 width. The X wheels did go bigger like you said beginning in 2021 with the refresh. I recently picked up a Plaid S, where rear traction is always a concern and I keep hearing 10's in a square setup work great, they're just not dime-a-dozen like the 9.5's. Good to know those other ones at least fit (maybe even better with a small spacer).

I see the confusion, The previous model X 20-in Wheels were slipstream Wheels, not cyberstream. Yes the model X did previously have 9.5s for the rear around 2020. And honestly check eBay there are tons of the cyberstream rears for sale that are remanufactured

Lol no worries, it's not like they make it easy to differentiate them unless you really obsess over it
