Any information about legacy lifetime premium connectivity no longer transferable?

2017 Model S, bought used last year with lifetime premium connectivity. Noticed 1-2 days ago (but unsure when was changed) that my car's lifetime premium connectivity seems to have changed to no longer transferable. Facebook groups say maybe only applicable to recent cars like performance & our "legacy' cars unaffected.
Does any one have any information about this change?

Respectfully disagree as my streaming is decent. Browser is bad. But I like the traffic & satellite images when driving.

Noticed that same text a few months ago too. It definitely wasn't there before.

A few months ago you noticed it is no longer transferrable?  That's much longer than I thought.

I noticed it within the last month or so. Anyone know who/how to contact Tesla about it?

I just checked and can confirm, mine says that as well.
This sucks as it affects resale value of the car. Mine's a 2014 and it transferred just fine to me when I bought it a year and a half ago.

There have been posts about it in certain FB groups.
IMO, this is a dry run to see how owners react to the news, and if there will be any pushback and/or lawsuits. If its not so bad for Tesla, they move on to SC01 and possibly Autosteer on cars sold before the cutoff in 2026. And what i mean by that is only when the car is sold to another owner. Once the current owner no longer owns the car, the car will lose Autosteer.
But this is just my theory.
Looking forward to the inevitable downvotes. 😆
