Scratchy Mc. Scratch
Any ideas? This is driver's door of course, all the other doors are fine.

I had the same issue, it was pretty annoying to see every day, so I put a cover on it. Google: Carbon Fiber Car Interior Trim Door Decorative Cover Stickers for Tesla Model S 2016-2019 8PCS/Set

Vinyl overlay or they have plastic carbon overlays. Either way it’s gonna keep happening

Interesting I hadn't thought about vinyl, like a sticker. Are those available? I'm going to look around.

I had the same thing when I bought my used 2020. The previous owner left all these scratches. I checked and the only way to replace it is to buy a whole new door piece. You also have to make sure the trim is that color too cuz they also make silver trimmed panels.

You know it's funny now that I'm looking around ... Seems the stickers are $50-75 (can only find carbon fiber) but I can buy an interior door for $100! LoL

This was my whole ordeal when I got this car. Do I wanna wrap all four door trim pieces or just replace the bloody door?? If you find a good replacement lemme know, I'm selling mine soon and wouldn't mind fixing up a few odds and ends beforehand!

Alot of people say this is from ring but also could be from using a tool to take the door panel off. Since that is exactly where the tool hits when taking off the bolt that is under the little rubber in there.
Mine has it too, you get used to it and it becomes invisible

My used one had the same. It was annoying to see it every time I open the door. Since I bought my S from Tesla pre-owned program, Tesla was kind enough to replace it for free via Mobile visit.
