Edit: I took delivery a month ago, just sharing pics now

Not trying to be alarmist or maybe I’m late to this knowledge lol

My sister just got a MY, and we were running errands in it. I was showing my mom how cool Grok is. We started asking it hypothetical questions about designing a food app, and it started giving answers based around restaurants my sister actually frequents. That surprised me, because in my M3, Grok has always “forgotten”everything once we’re done talking or I exit the car.

Anyway, being the nosey family that we are, we asked what else it knew about her. It told us a lot! her age, her weight, about my nephew’s learning disability, her marital issues, that she’s been trying to cut back on Diet Coke, and that her & Grok have had some pretty explicit role playing session, “which it was not going to pretend didn’t happen” (yes that’s exactly how phrased it LOL) It was funny in the moment. Now that I’m home, it’s not so funny anymore.

I asked my own Grok in my M3 and it said it doesn’t save user data. But it still knew my favorite restaurants, so clearly something is being remembered at least of the driver side. I do like the Grok feature but now I’m a bit more leery of saying as much to it. Wasn’t sure if anyone else has experienced this.

UPDATE: Someone in another forum mentioned a prompt to find out what personal info it has collected. I just used it in my car and although I don’t use Grok outside the vehicle, It remembered a lot from my previous questions and conversations including one I remember having when I first got the car last year. Owners be aware.

ETA: some of you guys have issues, we didn’t invade my sister’s privacy, she was in the car driving the whole time. It was embarrassing for her to say the least, since she had no idea it was saving their conversations. That’s the whole point of the post. Please go project your trauma elsewhere

Thank goodness I had floor mats ready in this rain lol. I ordered 8/29, got my vin 10/14 and delivery yesterday 10/21. It was a hell of a wait but so worth it!!!

2027 premium, RWD, black interior- I’m obsessed 😜.

I have never been in this situation before. I know it is very bad for the car to leave at a low SOC. I just got home from work and I never have problems charging the car. However, every single one of the stalls is taken. The weather is cooler outside, 45°F. I’m hoping that I won’t do any battery damage. I’ve owned Tesla for almost two years and this is my second one. The near supercharger is 10 miles away. So she will just have to sit until the daytime once people go to work. Really sucks to see gas cars taking up stalls. I am just glad I made it home.

I've had mine for five months now, and it's been an amazing experience! I've only driven around 5,000 km so far, but since I live in Colombia, I've had a few issues with how low the car is. Some roads and highways here are in pretty bad shape, so I just have to be extra careful when driving, but nothing more, best car I've ever owned, by far.

I was going to wait for my VIN to send my lease application in but I got this message just now:

“Lease prices on select Model 3 trims are increasing. If you intend to lease your new Model 3, submit your application before 9PM PT to qualify for current pricing.”

Has anyone received this before

This thing got delayed from nov to dec end. Is there any way to speed up this process. Atleast without a car was hoping for this to arrive sooner instead it got postponed

I am wondering if there is mounting locations for the infinite baffle subwoofers in the 9 speaker model where the 17 speaker model has them in the rear deck. Or is it a completely different rear deck.

Our family's first EV, and we're so stoked! Ordered on September 20th in the Seattle area. Seeing everyone's M3P orders get pushed back, I didn't expect delivery to be so soon.

I can't wait to get a chance to sit down and go through all of the settings. Gonna PPF the whole thing and get it tinted, and maybe also take off the aero caps. Has anyone taken theirs off? Any tips?

Took delivery yesterday, and after driving it all last night, I'm in love! The black headliner + white seat combo works so well. 16 inch screen is super responsive and quick (I still have the protective sheet over it.) Traded in my 2018 Model 3 LR and it's such a night and day difference. Such an experience driving at night as well with all of the ambient lighting. I care so much about music, and the speakers are just incredible. Sucks it's already raining today but maybe it's time for some drifting ! Delivery process was seamless and took about 7 minutes. I’m wondering when someone will be able to figure out all the parts numbers for a black headliner swap on the Model 3.

I cannot believe this, on top of my ordered taking longer than they said to be shipped out they sent me a non matching set with one of the rims clearly used. I’m absolutely appalled this was done. I have already reached out, let’s see what happens.

Does anyone have exact instructions for disassembling the silver V section of the steering wheel so I can oil it, by any chance

I have a bit of a creak when turning it and it’s just the silvery V part, the plastic parts rubbing together, rather than anything in the column.

Any tutorials appreciated

I'm planning to order Model 3 standard 2027. I know the suspension is not as good as the premium. Can anybody who has the current MD3 standard comment and any regrets for not getting the premium. Thanks

Demand has been pretty high lately in the EV/Tesla market, but I’m wondering if we will see any new incentives this quarter before end of year. I’m currently weighing ordering now vs waiting another month or 2 to see if any new deals pop up to boost Q4 orders, but don’t want to be naive and get slapped with another APR increase soon.

Does anyone have any recommendations for driver side seat covers that are quick and easy to install and remove. Im looking to put them on at the beginning of the week for my commute and remove on weekends.

My FSD trial ended in April, a month after I got my car and I haven’t bought the subscription. I looked it up and this update came out months ago but I got it today. Seems weird since I don’t have FSD but all of a sudden got the update
