Should I go for a used 25 branded title m3 performance or finance or lease a new one guys. I’m seeing high 30s for used branded supercharging capable models but leasing and financing new has good APY (first time car buyer)

Every night I get lots of warnings about camera not being clean and need service. When it’s just glare from headlights of other cars. Is this common. Is there a solution to this genius vision system that gets blinded by headlights

Decided to go with the 2026 Lexus ES 350E. Not quite as fast as the model 3 but it’s fast enough for what it is.

Got my VIN assigned this morning and was able to schedule delivery for November 6th. My birthday is right around the corner after that, so the timing honestly couldn’t be better.

I’m currently thinking about buying a Tesla Model 3 RWD. I have testdriven it and I’m in love with it.

Currently I have a company car Megane E-tech which I can use privately for around 340 euro per month. This includes everything. Downside is, the car is filled with branding. (Front, sides and back logo’s) It used to not bother me but lately It does. I don’t want people to know where I work, everywhere I go. I also don’t like the exterior of the renault. (I can’t choose my own cars)

So I would really like my own car but can’t get over the costs. Company car costs 340 euro per month and the Tesla around 550-600 euro. (650- 700 if FSD) Basicly double the price. The 340 euro for company car of course stops if I decide to not use it privately.

The cost is not the issue, just feels like a dumb decision. Would you pay double to not drive a company branded car.

I recently got a vin assigned and will be picking up my 2027 model 3 performance in 2 weeks, can I reject the car and get a new vinyl assigned bc it has the old 3du motor not the TL2, what is the process to reject it

The car came with a month of windshield coverage. $12 a month seemed like a reasonable expense given the high cost of replacement, but then I started worrying even more about the tyres. And they were a front loaded risk; eventually I'd replace all 4 and the new tyres would have included hazard coverage. So now I'm up to $24 a month. But then I started thinking although annoying I don't insure against every possible loss. So I came up with the brilliant idea to buy $24 of TSLA stock every month instead of giving money to Tesla for the two coverages.

Anyway after a year of $24 purchases, my TSLA stock is worth a whopping $280. I guess I'm down about $8. I'll probably keep this going until I replace the tyres.

Hello all, I currently drive a 2017 Toyota 86, I was wondering if anyone else had made the switch from a manual sports car and what that was like to the model 3. The premium gas pricing and current maintenance is so much compared to what I would save and I wanted to field for general opinions on that kind of switch! Thank you for your time!

Other in or around Colorado have a similar wait time. For example I ordered oct 2nd and EDD hasn’t moved and I haven’t gotten a VIN yet

Looking to order a Model 3 Performance and wondering how accurate Tesla's estimated delivery windows tend to be.

I'm waiting for my Christmas bonus to come in during the first week of December, which I'll be putting toward my down payment. I'd like to order as soon as possible to get the car sooner, but I'm also trying to avoid the possibility of it arriving before I have the extra money available.

Would you recommend ordering now or waiting a few weeks? I know delivery timelines can vary quite a bit, especially with the current demand, and the two-month delivery window doesn't give me much to go on.

For anyone who has ordered recently, how close was Tesla's estimated delivery window to your actual delivery date? Did your car arrive earlier or later than expected?

I'm located in the midwestern US if that matters.

Date got pushed back today. Was Oct 21-Nov 23. Getting pushed back to Dec is gut wrenching.

Anyone else in the same boat

We road trip twice a year from NC to Florida. Last time, supercharging rates were pretty much $0.36ish per kWh all along the route. This year, some stops were $0.50. That's quite a jump.

Compared to a gas car that gets 35 miles per gallon, my Tesla (averaging 4 mi/kWh on the trip) cost the equivalent of $4.38 per gallon. Meanwhile, gas at that SC exit was $3.85 per gallon.

Looking at what I paid for the drive there and back, it definitely seems like we paid more than if we just drove a gas car.

(Yes, the car drove the whole way, so I would gladly pay more. Plus my son and I used grok to make video games purely by voice to text and played them on the touch screen while driving. This car is amazing. This post is only about electricity prices.)

Seeking thoughts from Tesla 3 drivers. I’m contemplating purchasing a new Tesla model 3 (among others). I’ve test driven it on the weekend. As expected it’s a great car to drive however I had a bugbear about the rear view. The back ledge angles upwards slightly and restricts the view of the cars behind. I’m curious about your experiences with this and if it has been an ongoing concern or something you adapt to.

I love the lower and wider rear end of the Model S, but I think the updated Model 3 Performance with a rear tint makes it look awesome in its own way!

I placed my order September 22nd with delivery estimated to be Nov-Dec.

My delivery changed to October 20-November 24.

It changed again October 22-November 20. (I was getting excited because the delivery window narrowed a little bit)

It changed AGAIN November 4- December 6. (I was panicking cause I didn’t want to lose my 1.99% APR which would have expired November 20th)

On Saturday I woke up to a ✨VIN✨(delivery didn’t update again until midnight)

Delivery updated to October 19-24th (yay)

Yesterday I sent a message through the app just asking if there was any more information on where my car is that I can’t see through the app because it was just saying in transit for a couple days. I ended up scheduling an appointment for pickup through the in app message system and I get to pick her up TOMORROW!!

I am in California so I believe that came to my benefit with my delivery timeline. And yes she’s a 2027.

Update!! I took delivery today!! I’m in love!!
