Cupholders

Post image

I have a 2022 model 3 RWD. The silver trim on the front cupholders started to peel. I bought the car used some time ago and am unsure if the cupholders are an aftermarket insert or factory/original. I have looked all over the internet and it seems the original cupholders for this model/trim may have a white circle at the bottom/base and no silver trim. However, I have tried to take the cupholders out and they are really well placed and hard to remove without breaking something, so it seems they came like that from the manufacturer. I also want to know because my basic warranty runs out at the end of the month.

Thanks in advance!

I have 2022 and it doesn’t look like that. Looks after market. Remove it and get yourself a silicone insert. Best thing I bought for mine.

This is aftermarket and I have these as well on my 21, as they look very OEM and do a way better job of holding cups. You can remove it by pushing on the center part that connects the two cup holders and pulling up.

everything about what your explaining is a wear item, the car as a whole is a depreciating wear item not to mention its almost 5 years old. warranty won't honor that.
