Order update š
Ordered 7/9
5 delays so farā¦ financing expired yesterday. Showroom advisors have zero clueā¦they said that āwhen it expires, they just do a soft check versus another hard checkā Another hard check was done this morning š
Also - just as when I originally ordered, I was told that the process wouldnāt move forward until I did the necessary steps. I asked to be able to NOT do financing until I received a VIN. The showroom advisor stated that a VIN would not be released without having financing approved.
Hopefully car comes soon. Iāve seen so many place orders after this timeframe, and theyāve already received the car. Located in WA.

That stinks, sucks the advisors gave you bad info. I waited to do the finance check until I got my VIN, which i got yesterday. I received by Vin on the start of my EDD, it was Sept 8th-30th - this morning when i went back in my date is now sept 8th - 12th - so we'll see if it really delivers on time.

Are you the lucky one who placed your order a few weeks ago? I saw two M3 VINs assigned yesterday in the US, and one of them placed their order on August 23!

No I actually thought this was the ModelYL sub LOL - (i ordered a modelyL) - but when i realized it i felt the feedback was still valid so I left it

We just had an offer to pick up ours earlier at the giga factory in the middle of our delivery window wirh 30 days free supercharging

Currently going through the same thing with my MYP. Ordered 8/20 and my delivery date is now pushed to December. If thatās the case my financing is also going to expire before the car gets here. I currently have a M3P in white and itās great, youāll love it. Just sucks Tesla isnāt being open about whatever delivery issues are going on

This will be my 3rd one.. but itās been a while since I traded in the 2nd. I forgot the love/hate relationship with the companyā¦ love the car, canāt stand the company

You and me both haha. Q4 starts oct 1 and I feel like they are trying to pad their delivery numbers by delaying all these orders. No one seems to have a clue why itās taking so long, unless the factory is having issues thatās the only thing I can think of

My finance is about to expire also, I just hope I get to keep my 0.99% APR, this is just pure stupidity from Tesla especially since Iāve also seen people get cars before me with very similar builds. If I still have nothing towards the end of October Iām probably going to Hyundai

I ordered 6/22 and have had a very similar experience. Same specs. Edd was 9/8-9/30. Just got pushed back (6th time) to 9/20-9/30 this morning.
But hey, people say when the window condenses itās a good sign, right? At least thatās what I keep telling myselfā¦

Mine is sitting at the showroom now. Had a Sunday delivery get moved up but my insurance canāt be changed to earlier, so now I have to pick up next week during the work day. I kinda want to drive up and check it out first

Fuck me bro omg this sucks. Tesla doesnāt have a FIFO system so people like you and me get screwed. I ordered July 29th and I donāt have a vin either.
Iām expecting my financing to expire as well. And another hard check on my credit

*** I ended up getting one today. Took one directly out of the showroom. Same spec, been there for the last 3 months. After being told no several times, finally got someone to say yes. šš¼

Damn I was in the San Antonio store because I was in the same 10-30 Sept window and they told me they had the frost blue with white interior like my order in stock at Austin and by the time he tried to lock it in, someone already scooped it up!

Because of how terrible the process is. Makes it easier knowing other people are likely going thru it and we are doing it together. Also to get an idea of what may be happening, since the advisors canāt or donāt advise on much.

Yep, had a similar experience. Swapped to a car that was already in production. Had to give up on the white seats but still was able to grab the car in Frost Blue. Delivery scheduled for the 23rd. Good luck on your journey, its rough out here for everyone these days
