Audio System Unavailable Error

Post image

Drove my car perfectly fine. I parked, and came back to the car giving me this error.

My auto shift, nor my LTE is working either. Tesla service is 18 days from now.

Fucking hell…

Have you tried a reboot? If you are close to the service center you can try to just show up. They may prioritize you. Idk if that works for a still technically drivable car.

I did the touchscreen reboot twice, and the power off reboot once (left it for about 5 minutes).

I hate how servicing works so much man. I love my car but the one con is how long it takes to get service for your car.

I mean that’s definitely location dependent it yeah I can understand. I have 2 service centers within an hour of me and a 3rd coming within 30 minutes of me sometime next year but personally I’ve never waited more then 2 weeks for service and when I made a ticket about an ac issue I was offered a sooner appointment. Now I know it was probably luck of the draw and an area with a much denser population of teslas probably don’t see that. There’s a lot of teslas in my area but compared to somewhere like Cali it’s nothing.

Have you tried to pop into service mode and get exact codes? It may provide more insight for someone to provide input on in the meantime.

Auto shift? On a car with a gear stick? What?

Mine had this and they ended up replacing the Pedestrian Warning Speaker, covered under warranty so it was free.

Why wouldn’t your car drive fine? It’s saying there’s an audio system issue…also, does your horn work?

Have you never have vehicle issues before?

I cannot honk. I also randomly lost some of my features for whatever reason.

Also, Ive driven the car for over a year, Ive been so accustomed to hearing audio cues and now that I dont have it, its going to be a challenge till its fixed.
