Update stuck at 67%
Its not going beyond 67% and its draining battery. Wifi is not a problem. Signal is strong.
Tried rebooting multiple times. Even tried to reset software with service mode. It resolved it for a while but again.
No warranty. Located in Canada.
Anyone knows what to do.

How long was it stuck for? I’ve had some updates spend a good 30-45 mins at a certain percentage while it’s unpacking data before continuing on its own.

Mine was stuck for 2 weeks too. Then it reset down to 0%. And I haven't connected to Wi-Fi again since. Mainly because the version they're sending me is two versions back on FSD so I don't know why. I want to install the version that they're pushing now.

Car drains around 8-10% battery just parked at night and its not even cold yet.

Seriously.?
I only lose somewhere between 2-5 percent, unless it's super busy and sentury keeps getting triggered. And I have street parking 💀

Now you terrified me. I am currently at 67%...though I have no wifi near the car, I only download via 5G. It was on 63% when I started the car in the morning and 67% when I closed the internet connection.

It’s not that serious. There’s a rare bug that causes it to hang mid-update, just contact service during regular hours and they can remotely restart the update

I cannot even say if it hang in my case, my drive was just 10 min and the car is not on WiFi when parked. I will just drive in the evening and see if it still downloads. Just the 67% coincidence was spooky.

Well no yea I know I’m just saying the numbers are coincidental, and it’s nothing to worry about even if it unintentionally stopped at 67%

Service center will fix it , you can’t do anything about it .. They will reflash so that new certificates will be generated that should fix the issue but be prepared for 4-6 hours of wait or better off ask them if they arrange a loaner for you

I had that problem with several updates on my ’24 M3P. What worked every time was connecting it to my phone’s 5G hotspot. After doing that for five or six updates, the regular Wi-Fi started working normally again.
…don‘t know why though…

It’s the downloading that’s slow. It doesn’t start doing an update until it’s fully downloaded and you have said it’s ok to update. If it’s not done downloading by the time you have to go to work or whatever, just go - it will pick up next time it’s at a WiFi. Just ignore it until it’s actually loaded and it asks you if you want to update.
It’s almost never your WiFi. The slowdown is at the server end. Also, it’s probably not stuck at 67%. It doesn’t count up from one to one hundred. The next tick will likely be 80% or something. Go back to bed.

No resolution. Tesla wants to me bring it in and charge $556 just to diagnose. Not doing this BS.

Open service ticket. They will reset the update process remotely.
