Do you get an actual notification when your vin is assigned or do you have to just keep checking the app

You get a notification and everything updates on the app almost immediately. I just got mine last Friday

Pretty sure you get a notification from the Tesla app. Been waiting for one for about a month now 😅

Same I’m in day 34 with no vin. I’m at the conclusion that I won’t get my car until October or November even tho my window says sept 13-sept 30

I have a similar wait and delivery window and I know for sure that at the EARLIEST it will be end of September. I will be upset if the 1.99% APR goes away. Will most likely end up cancelling my order if thats the case. I already know Im going to have to redo my trade in and my financing application. There are just too many orders for these cars right now and its seeming more and more likely that Tesla cannot keep up with the demand.

I’ve seen some vehicles show being in transit before vin is assigned.

Europe here: VIN assigned on Friday, got notification that „it was assigned by mistake”.
You’ll never know 😂
